Liberty Lanes will be closed
June 29th to July 13th for lane maintenance.
The Senior league will start again on July 14th at 12:30.
June’s “King of the
Hill” was on Father’s Day. As
usually it was a close match down to the 10th frame of the finals.
The difference this time for the 1st time in 3 years we had
a tie. Steve Stinger, an ex King, had to hit 9 on his last ball to beat Rachel
Bourgeois a new comer to the King of the Hill.
He only hit 8 down. In the
2 frame roll off Steve prevailed to become King again and is now 1st
in the year’s standings. We
have 2 more King of the Hill in the 2008/9 season.
Mark your calendars, the next one is July 26th at noon.
Since the last article,
Camden had 5 teams participate in the National Family Scholarship Tournament.
Camden did well with 2 bowlers, Sabrina Williams and Christina Stinger,
winning scholarships. Sabrina and her partner took 2nd in their
division and will go to the Nationals if the 1st place team drops
out. The 5 teams were: Ken Blanchard and Sabina Williams, Steve and Christina
Stinger, Rachel and Erin Bourgeois, Sandy and Caitlin Lyke, and Donna Merrian
and Andrew Bourgeois.
Congratulations to Samantha
Giammella, 13, who celebrated her birthday at Liberty Lanes last week.
The birthday had the theme of Hawaii and the room was well decorated
following this theme. The
children enjoyed the bowling and the pizza party afterwards in well decorated
room.
The seniors bowl on Tuesday
at 12:30. Come and enjoy a couple
of hours of FUN with friends and
have free coffee. You can’t
beat the price. This week’s results were Sue Ostrander had high game and
series for the women. Peter had high game and Paul Kupelian had high series
for the men. Seniors bowl Tuesday
at 12:30. Come join the fun.

a copy of it and you will receive a free game of bowling.
