Last weekend was the
“Birthday Weekend”. This week
we only had 1. Congratulations to
Brandon, 13, who celebrated his special day at the Center.
The bowling party was made up of adults and children.
Even though there was friendly competition during the bowling everyone
enjoyed themselves and had a great party after bowling.
Seniors
bowl at 12:30
on Tuesday. Mel Frezel had high
game and series for the women while Roy Smith had high game and series for the
men. Roy , alias Smitty and other names, just returned from the south and came
close to bowling the same score in all 3 games.
The 1st 2 games were 193 each but the 3rd was
lower. We want to welcome a new
bowler Daphne Billington. New
bowlers are always welcome. Come
join the FUN on Tuesday at 12:30
at Liberty Lanes.
Our
1st week of our short Spring Doubles league started on Monday, May 5th,
at 7:30.
We had 9 teams come to bowl and have fun.
You can still join the league this coming week.
The league will last for 7/8 weeks. Any double combination is ok.

The
Center hosted the Boy Scout Troop 49 and Cub Scout Pack 49 for their annual
fundraiser this past week. 19 scouts took part in the fundraiser.
Bruce Swanson was the coordinator for the function.
Speaking with the scout leaders after the bowling, they were pleased with
the money raised. The money will go
towards summer camp for the Boy Scouts and different pack activities for the Cub
Scouts. They certainly had FUN bowling and enjoyed the pizza afterwards.
Future
activity: June 18th at noon
is the monthly “King of the Hill”. All
bowlers are welcome to come and have FUN.
